Wellington
I loved Wellington! I caught myself thinking many times about what it would be like to live here. We were lucky with really good weather. We had sunny days and not a lot of wind!
The houses on the hillside were so beautiful! We were lucky to stay at this lovely tiny living Airbnb with stunning views. We cancelled our plans on multiple occasions just to stay in and admire the views from here.
Side note: After this trip inspired I created a conversation card deck to be used with your partner. It was inspired by the questions Adam and I were asking each other on one of our nights in.
Highlights on this trip were going to the Weta museum, making chocolate bars at the Wellington Chocolate factory! and the views from our Airbnb. I’d also recommend going see the Gallipoli exhibition at Te Papa, the museum of New Zealand. It was pretty amazing – no pictures, because, well ….. spoilers!
My favourite dining places in Wellington
Koji – this was my favourite dining spot we tried! The wagyu udon, chicken and prawn dumplings, miso eggplant, and roasted lamb was divine.
Scopa Pizzeria – good pizza!!
Kisa – we enjoyed this middle eastern restaurant
One of the best mornings on our trip to Wellington was spent making bars of chocolate at the Wellington Chocolate Factory! I was a literal kid during whole process and couldn’t contain my excitement! I was very proud of my chocolate bars toppings too =)
